Background

Tree Pro Inc. of Lexington, KY is a family owned and operated business that was established in March of 2003 by James Sims. James Studied at the University of Kentucky before entering the profession full time. James now has 30+ years of experience in arboriculture and landscaping, most of which is right here in Lexington, but has also worked in Atlanta, GA. In 2001, James was named Grounds Keeper of the Year by the Lexington Apartment Association for his work at Merrick Place Apartments. During his free time, James is an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, and watching his daughters' softball & soccer games.

In 2008, James's son, Chris Cochran, graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration while majoring in Finace and Management. At this time Chris came aboard the Tree Pro team full time as Office Manager. During Chris's free time he enjoys playing softball, boating, and spending time with friends & family.
